Peninsula Day Care Center closes after 37 years

Three hundred low-cost child-care slots in Palo Alto will be lost this week when the owners of the 37-year-old Peninsula Day Care Center retire and close their doors.

This place was a blessing, and pastor Shaw was and is a treasure to this community.

So, so sad...I noticed a private school is now on there former site.

So many children loved this place, which is usually not the way it goes with daycare.

one child I know was crushed that he had to leave once he turned thirteen.

A whole community of children thanks you, Rev Shaw!
