Gas Line Break on Junipero Serra at Campus Dr W
Crimes & Incidents, posted by PG&E customer, a resident of the College Terrace neighborhood, on Oct 26, 2012 at 7:03 pm

Gas Line Break, 10/26/12, 6:45 pm

There is a gas leak at Junipero Serra and Campus Drive West. Persons located within 3/4 of a mile of this location should remain indoors. Vehicle traffic is being re-routed around the area. PG&E, Fire, and Police are on the scene. More updates will be posted here as they become available.

Wouln't be the first time. When I worked there, there was a haz-mat spill or a chemical spill or something every couple of months. Made it hard to get off campus sometimes. for some reason, they were most frquently on Campus Drive.

When was this, ducatigirl? A gas leak and what you are claiming are totally unrelated.

This was between 200 and 2008. All the construction projects caused inadvertently broken pipes, chemical spills happend in transport from on-campus labs to who-know-where. If it was bad on Campus Dr, traffic wise, it must have been god-awful on a main thoroughfare like Junipero Serra.
