Unemployment rates drop in California, Bay Area

Unemployment rates fell sharply across California in September, including in the Bay Area where one county's rate fell below 6 percent, according to a report released Friday by state employment officials.

No surprise given the way home prices and freeway traffic have been soaring in recent months.

I would rather have freeway traffic than massive unemployment again.

Some people do think the numbers are being fudged, though.

Relect the current guy....four years to 10.2% is outstanding. Add in the people that just gave up and those thousands that are trying to file for disability....
