@ all of the above...LOL! Got Jokes?! Too funny. His insurance will cover it.

My question is...Who can they sell prescription glasses to? I guess the sunglasses will be easy.

Were they actual glasses with lenses or just the frames? My guess is that if they are designer frames and sunglasses, they will end up on the black market in China, Taiwan, or Mexico.

My husband had an employee a few years ago who had married into a family of smugglers. At Christmas time, they would offer us cheap stolen Rolexes, or free fake Rolexes. Eventually this employee left, because her husband's family demanded that she run the flower business they were using as a cover to launder money!

No real point to the story, other than to illustrate that black market smugglers can be in some of the most seemingly innocuous places.

The proprietor has been very helpful to me, and courteous to boot.

I hope the store rebounds soon.

This is my eye glassess place. How horrible! What low life would do this.

There is a booming market in stolen designer frames all of a sudden. Some guy in San Angelo, Texas just walked into an optometry store and started putting high priced designer frames into a bag and walked out. He was caught in that case but it's becoming a more popular robbery or burglary item.
