Stanford Daily article today notes new Arts buildings at Stanford (Bing Concert Hall, and McMurtry Building), and they sound like they will be normal height, certainly not monster high, or in conflict with the character of the campus.
They sound wonderful, and are actually about the Arts.
Is it wishful thinking that their thoughtfulness would extend to Stanford's front door? A four building Arrillaga office complex towering over Palm Drive could be the new campus entrance, also called an arts district, makes no sense.
They may want to think about how people will reach Bing Concert Hall during rush hour if the office buildings are blocking El Camino.

Have Stanford Board of Trustees approved 27 University?
It's certainly a significant project on Stanford property, why would it not require trustee approval?
