This past week was the City of Palo Alto Employee Appreciation Picnic - a picnic at Mitchell Park.

No City Management (city manager or assistant city manger) attended. No service awards were given. What is the regard to employees by the City of Palo Alto citizens, city management, and city council for it's employees? What role does the Human Relations Committee play in this blatant disregard for the contribution and participation of employees for the community of the City of Palo Alto?

How are these employees and families regarded by the community?

What is the overall responsibility of us all for community and quality of life?
