"I belong to no organized party. I am a Democrat."
Issues Beyond Palo Alto, posted by Kenneth, a resident of Menlo Park, on Sep 5, 2012 at 5:57 pm

Will Rogers got it right. This Democratic convention is turning into a real zoo. God, Jerusalem, or not, or possibly, or Hamas, or not, or the Jewish vote, or not...what is it going to be?

That voice vote of the delegates was a real howler. The Los Angelas mayor orchestrated that thing. Completely embarassing.

Very confusing convention for independents and swing voters like us.

So far the convention is all about and in support of eugenics.

Sharon a swing voter? On what planet?

Cecile Richards spoke to me and for me.

I LOVED the nun! What a great speech! "Paul Ryan says his budget is in keeping with the values of our shared faith. I disagree."

Obama gets the bump that Mitt predicted his campaign would get - and didn't.

Actually it is called democracy. Unlike the republican party where everyone had to march in lockstep (anti gay,.anti abortion, anti immigrant, anti tax, obstructing Obama while hurting the American people), the democrats allow differing thoughts and views. Romney only got a 1 point bounce, so they are in panic mode and will clutch at any straws. You can be sure the democrats will not have an old actor ranting to an empty chair.

Sharon, the die hard republican is claiming to be independent? So she might view for Obama? Very funny

thanks Kenny

Here is Michelle Obama's electrifying speech from last night

Can't wait to hear President Clinton in an hour!

Romney = Bush

Obama will lead our economy back to the great Clinton job creation numbers! 4 million new jobs and counting after the Bush disaster of the last quarter 2008 and the first quarter 2009. We can't afford another Bush/Romney.

folks have been posting this chart showing how much good Obama has done in repairing the awful Bush years

May God bless the Democratic party!

Will Rogers got it right alright. But there's nothing like the chaos in the Republican party right now. Most of them don't like or trust their own candidate. Heck, they're not sure he's even a RINO.
