At a little over a century in age, Menlo Park resident Florence Detlor is one of Facebook's oldest users. The distinction, which she pays little mind, has earned her a tour of the social-networking company's massive headquarters and a meet-and-greet with the company's billionaire founder, who at 28 years old is 73 years her junior.

Go granny go!!!! My mom is 80 and she's on FB too....has 53 friends even! Pretty cool! Drives me nuts when younger people are shocked that older people are in the internet and social media. Remember, most of the guys most successful in this business are/were in their 50's!

My 91 year old grandmother is a FB user, but always says she doesn't have time to "JUST SIT AT THE COMPUTER ON HER BUTT" !! LOL!
She would rather be in her garden working or on some random trip, like this December to what used to be Burma, and is now, Myanamar (sp) for 3+ weeks! She takes her iPad with her to post some pix!

Depending on how one defines "user," my father's cousin might qualify and even be slightly older. She'll be 102 next month (13 Sept), but rarely gets on FB by herself anymore (her niece or grand-nephew usually logon with her). But you can check out her page by searching for Mildred Ritter--I suppose depending on her privacy settings. Otherwise Mildred is active and sharp and only slowing down a bit (she went to Scotland last year but decided not to go this year, decided to give up driving when she turned 100).
