Romney/Ryan official GOP Platform - Abotion and Rape
Issues Beyond Palo Alto, posted by Farm Girl, a resident of the Green Acres neighborhood, on Aug 21, 2012 at 11:39 am

In light of Republican senate candidate Todd Akin's comments about "legitimate rape", the Republican Party today voted on their Convention Platform today, and supported Akin's extremist views on abortion:

>> "Republicans drafting their party's official policy platform on Tuesday ratified a call for a Constitutional ban on abortion that makes no exceptions for rape or incest." Web Link

VP candidate Paul Ryan is on board with taking all rights away from women. Paul Ryan co-sponsored the Sanctity of Life Act WITH TODD AKIN and co-sponsored or voted for by virtually all of the GOP, which defines a fertilized egg as a person and grants it "all the legal and constitutional attributes and privileges of Personhood." No exceptions. Web Link Ryan also co-sponsored a national forced ultrasound bill.

No exceptions if your daughter's life may be at risk. No exceptions if your granddaughter is raped -- your granddaughter must carry her rapist's baby. Paul Ryan also co-sponsored the "forcible rape" redefinition in HR3 Web Link Does Republican VP candidate Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney not understand that "rape is rape"?

Mitt Romney's position on Personhood, which takes all choice away from women, takes away most forms of The Pill, takes away in-vitrio fertilization, a procedure Mitt's own boys used?

>> "HUCKABEE: Would you have supported a constitutional amendment that would have established the definition of life at conception?

>> ROMNEY: Absolutely."

Big Government Republicans -- trampling on your rights, in your bedroom, and in your body-parts.

"ROMNEY: Absolutely."
