SPORTS: A silver lining for American women's volleyball

Logan Tom's Olympic journey began in 2000, while she was a sophomore at Stanford. In fact, four days after the United States women's volleyball team finished fourth at the Sydney Olympic Games, Tom suited up and played for the Cardinal, leading the team with 17 kills, in a victory over California.
