Woman found drowned in Menlo Park hotel whirlpool spa

The San Mateo County Coroner's Office has identified the woman who apparently drowned in a whirlpool spa at a Menlo Park hotel early Saturday morning. She is Keri Long, 42, of San Ramon.

I kept seeing this headline, and it struck me as very sad to hear that someone would end their life's journey in such a way, presumably away from home and loved ones like this. My condolences to the family and friends.

I also find it disturbing that apparently some could not resist making crude or nasty comments about this. What is wrong with people?
