"Intouchables" is a terrific movie
Movies, posted by David Lieberman, a resident of the Professorville neighborhood, on Jul 15, 2012 at 11:55 am

Ignore the review in the Weekly (as well as the one in the Chronicle). "Intouchables" is clever, funny and touching. See it.

That's not a review, just an advertisement. How about some information on why the movie is worth seeing?

Anon- my humble input as to why this movie is worth seeing:

Omar Sy. Omar Sy. Omar Sy.

Thanks for the heads up, David. We enjoyed the movie--it was terrific and is still playing at the Aquarius.

It is the story of how an African man "from the projects" in Paris came to take care of an affluent man paralyzed by a paragliding accident and how they came to care for and expand each other's experience of life.

It is based on a true story and now each of the men has written an account of their time together.

You can google lots of information about the movie and story.
