This is an organized team that scatter when security moves to arrest. Why was security not carrying mace to blind the suspect while they put him on handcuffs? When suspect began to resist arrest, they were within legal right to mace the shoplifter. I've worked as a uniformed security before. When I tried to arrest and he fought back, I got the situation under control when I maced him. Course, after restraining him, I had to get him under running water to get the mace off his eyes because I was told it can cause permanent blindness if suspect is not treated immediately.
