Palo Alto grad Boyd starts his pro baseball career with A's

Palo Alto's B.J. Boyd was true to his word, signing his first professional contract less than a week after being drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the fourth round of Major League Baseball's First-Year Player Draft.

BJ may be considered one of the best athletes in Palo Alto history. He will do fine in life in regards to whatever he chooses.
