Stanford wins 18th straight Learfield Sports Directors' Cup

Cardinal alum earns Olympic berth

The College World Series has yet to be completed, but that won't change the 2011-12 Division I Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings, as far as Stanford is concerned. For the 18th straight year, Stanford has the top athletics program in the nation.

Thank goodness for the Stanford women in sports. Otherwise, there would not have been 18 straight Sear's/Learfield Cups. Congratulations to the entire Stanford sport's program.

It was, is and always be a team effort. Scholar-Athletes in the finest sense of the word. Wonderful "kids" and coaches. And by far, the smallest college/university number-wise in the top ten. And Cal,at #7, didn't do badly at all either. Exposition High and Wildweed

also placed well above the average.
