i grew up around this neighborhood area. please include the fact that the cost of living in this area is now sky-high. there used to be a middle class in palo alto. the Gunn Alumni Association allows alums to contribute memories they have of palo alto as it was some years ago

"Stern took over the house in 2000." From her parents presumably, so she's taking full advantage of Prop. 13 and paying peanuts in property taxes. I wonder if her neighbors know that as well.

How pathetic Palo Alto.

What is described here is the norm of human behavior. That the Weekly finds it unique and newsworthy speaks volumes to the true nature of the majority of Palo Alto.

@ Ed, thank you very much. Your comments are the best example of a true Palo Altan.... At least so far in this thread.
