Since this bus route is still around and the exact manner of its salvation could still be changed, I think it would be a good idea for those of us who want to keep it to think of ways that it can be utilised.

For those of us with teenagers, particularly those who already use the bus for Gunn, we should get them into the habit of using the bus for recreational uses. How many of them go to Stanford Mall, downtown, the Caltrain station, San Antonio, and expect us to drive them. I say that we should be giving our teens a life lesson and get them to use public transport. We may have to give them bus money but it is probably less than the money we would use driving them everywhere and the bonus is that we don't have to turn into their taxis. Give them some independence and teach them that the last bus is their curfew.
