Should Palo Alto Require Calorie Labeling?

The city of Seattle is now requiring chain restaurants to post the kilo calorie content of their menu items. Seeing as most of these chains probably distribute the same menu items on the West coast, couldn't the city require Palo Alto locations of these chains to post the same menus?

Perhaps we should hire a study coordinator to decide what we should do.

All Starbucks have brochures - or did - with calorie counts. The company is revisingthe brochure and is changing to no-transfat products in lattes and cappuchnos. Just ask for the brochures.

FYI, a lot of chains post nutritional info on their websites and many have information available at the stores.
