[Web Link Film lecture: Charles Ferguson]

The filmmaker of the Wall Street and finance-industry documentary "The Inside Job" will speak tonight, May 30, at 7 p.m. at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto. Charles Ferguson will speak on his book "Predator Nation," which continues to explore the issues from the film.

The electric Latin jazz group Charged Particles plays an 8 p.m. show of original music and covers tonight, May 30, at the Stanford Coffee House. Band members are keyboard player Murray Low, director of the Stanford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble; drummer Jon Krosnick, a Stanford professor of communication, political science and psychology; and electric bass player Jason Muscat.

you're actually charging admission for some of these events? if you think about it, there are things to do and activities during the slower summer season. thanks anyway for the info
