Dumbarton Bridge to close May 25-29

The entire Dumbarton Bridge will be closed during Memorial Day weekend for seismic retrofit work, bridge officials announced. The bridge will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, May 25, to as late as 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 29.

The bike lane across the Dumbarton Bridge will also be closed. Bicyclists are encouraged to drive that day since bicycles are banned from the detour routes.
