The Grab Bag Theater presents “Anything Goes!” This musical comedy, set onboard an ocean liner and featuring classic Cole Porter hits such as “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” and of course, “Anything Goes,” will have you singing and dancing your way out of the theater. The show, with performances on May 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th at 7:00 PM, is produced and performed entirely by Bay Area students, in keeping with the mission of the Grab Bag Theater, “to provide youth with opportunities to perform, the skills and support to produce shows independently, and an active theater network across the San Francisco Peninsula.” Performances will be held at the Veteran’s Memorial Center Theater at 1455 Madison Avenue in Redwood City. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors, and can be purchased at the door or online at Web Link. “Anything Goes,” music and lyrics by Cole Porter, original book by P.G. Wodehouse, Guy Bolton, Howard Lindsay, and Russell Crouse, new Book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman, was originally produced by Lincoln Center Theatre, in New York City. You don’t want to miss this fantastic production!
