Bomb-threat caller sought by Palo Alto police

Three Palo Alto restaurants and one at Stanford received bomb threats by a thickly accented man on May 1, tying up police resources, Palo Alto police said.

If it's not one thing, it's another.

Let's hope that there are phone records that help track down this bozo.

And if the police are fortunate enough to actually catch this yoyo, let's hope the DA will throw the book at him--including deporting him if he is not a legal resident.

It's dumb for the Weekly to make a story out of this. When crazy people read that a bomb threat has disrupted somebody's life, then they get the idea that they should call in one of their own. Responsible media don't even report bomb threats for this reason. Then again, you guys do a big story about every Caltrain suicide, which just prompts more suicides, so I guess this comment will be ignored. It's all about pageviews and unique visitors, right?
