Stanford women's water polo plays for NCAA No. 1 seed

Sacred Heart Prep grad Pallavi Menon has spent much of her athletic life at Avery Aquatic Center. A senior driver with the Stanford women's water polo team, she'll have one last go-around at her stomping grounds this weekend.

"Future Olympians" Melissa Seidermann, Annika Dries and future freshman Maggie Steffens.......

I hope the 3 make the team. But for now they are part of the national team. They are not Olympians just yet. The national team has yet to make its cut down to 13 players.

Lolo Silver is another Stanford polo player vying for a London 2012 roster spot.
