just wondering (football newbie here)...Luck was quoted in the newspaper that he was taking winter quarter off after all the excitement of fall/football for him. T

hen, I heard on the news that (yesterday, I think) he got to ring the bell at the NY Stock Exchange in NYC obviously. Does this mean he also is taking spring quarter off ALSO? - and if so, how does he have enough units to graduate (I understood he was taking a degree in Architecture).

In these times when 25K + academic applicants are turned away from Stanford, I question apparent luxury treatment of recruited athletes, whether they "take" their degree or not.

There was another Stanford football player (age 21, he said) on KNBR radio a couple of days ago who laughingly said he was a "History major." There was plenty of joking about that.
