Are you guys going to write about the passing of Bill Green, who won the 1980 Olympic trials in the 400 and won CCS for Cubberley?

Mark,

I agree with you. Bill Green should have a story written about him. He was the real deal, back in the day. He was cheated out of an Olympic bid, 1980, due to politics, but he was the USA top candidate for a medal in the 400m.

Same thing happended to Harold Davis, another local kid (Morgan Hill), in 1940. He was the favorite to win the 100m and 200m dashes. WWII cancelled him out.

Both of them were chariots of fire.
