Friends don't let friends drive drunk.
I hope that President Peres meets with some true friends of Israel while he is in Silicon Valley, friends who care enough to tell him that Israel needs to stop taking Palestinian lands and resources at the point of a gun, stop brutalizing and arresting Palestinians who protest peacefully, stop colonizing Palestinian territories, grant Palestinian citizens of Israel equal rights including the right to live anywhere they want to and treat Palestinians in the occupied territories in accordance with international law. Israel is it's own worst enemy. We in America need to stop enabling Israel's self-destruction.

Instead of spouting the usual crap about israel, maybe this "frined" should tell the palestinians to recognize israel's right to exist and to stop the clamoring for israel's destruction---then there will be peace.
And BTW, how many jews live in the surrounding arab countries--none--they were all driven out years ago and the palestinians have made it clear that jews are not welcome to live in "palestine".

So "Real Friend" are you saying you condone the theft of land and water? Do you condone brutalizing non-violent protesters? Do you condone blatant violations of international law?
Palestinian citizens of Israel do not have equal rights with Jews, purely because of their ethnicity. They are not allowed to live in most of Israel including on lands and homes their families may have owned for generations. How can you defend this? How can you believe that the international community can allow this to keep happening forever?
