Sports, posted by Editor, Palo Alto Online, on Feb 25, 2012 at 4:25 am

Senque Carey was a top national recruit as a player out of St. Francis High and was regarded as one of the nation's best assistant basketball coaches while at Fresno State. To clear the air, Coach Senque forgot to turn the bears paperwork into CCS. This coach was a poor leader and it's a step in the right direction for m-a to look elsewhere. So long coach q!

Failed to reach CCS Tournament does not tell the story. The coach, athletic director, and CCS should have a process to ensure the qualified teams they are responsible for are able to compete in the tournament they were qualified to play in. Why won't any of those responsible confirm whether or not the paperwork was submitted to the CCS seeding committee? Forgot to submit the paperwork is too kind. Hard working high school athletes can't represent themselves so they need their leaders to watch out for them.

Horrible coach, very unpredictable, tried to lose numerous games... For example, Against half moon bay he started the 5 bottom players and only played the regular starters a few mins late in the second half after getting down by 40. Glad he's gone.
