A whole month seems too diffuse. Surely one day would be enough to remind people of the importance of 9-1-1 and teach them how to use it.

The natural date for this day would be 9/11.

Perhaps one week could be designated "Dial 911 and die" week to celebrate what happens when you entrust your safety to the police. During that week Anna can do her bit by rejecting any security other than the ability to dial 911. No armed guard at her office door, no gated communities, no body guard.

What happened to my post about 911 not being "universal" since other countries use other numbers and some places do not have a 911 service. I did ask if the universe had shrunk for this politician, but I felt that this was a respectful question. Is universal no longer universal?
