Yay! We can drive again! ...

Realistically, the one block between Walgreens and Longs which was pedestrian-only has been quite nice while it lasted. If only the city council would take its environmental agenda seriously and propose some sweeping changes. Sometimes the best change may feel strange at first, but in time, the people will be enlightened.

I believe the problem to retailers was the closure of the block to foot traffic, not to road traffic.
