The stars came out to watch Jeremy Lin and the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Sunday as the home team took on the defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks. Lin didn't disappoint.

Anyone else seriously offended by the numerous racial slurs that the right wing media is hurling at Jeremy Lin?

I never thought of Saturday Night Live as a right wing station.

Saturday Night Live was satirizing the right wing media. If you didn't get that, you've probably been watching too much Fox News.

I saw the SNL skit as over the top. But, yes, it was funny, especially watching the black 'commenators' laughing their asses off, when the object of the joke was Asian...then having a cow when a stereotype of blacks was mentioned. The only thing missing was that Larry Bird was a white man who could not jump! That was the chink in their armor.

What right wing station are you talking about?

The worst slur that I heard was on Fox. I'm not going to repeat it. You can look it up if you want. I think repeating this slurs, even in the context of "news", is just as bad as saying them the first time around.

"The worst slur that I heard was on Fox. I'm not going to repeat it."

Go ahead and point to it, specifically. You seem to have a burr under your saddle blanket, so why not let us know what your problem is?

I think Jeremy Lin is amazing!

I really had hoped that by now we would be past seeing racism where there is none.

I have concluded that those who see "racism" when it isn't there are the actual racists. A classic case of psychological projection.
