Accident / Event Downtown Last Night (2/16/12)
Crimes & Incidents, posted by Jennifer Crescent, a resident of the Downtown North neighborhood, on Feb 17, 2012 at 10:32 am

Does anyone know what happened at the corner of Bryant & University last evening at about 5:30? There appeared to be ambulances, firetrucks, etc.... and unfortunately at least one victim on a stretcher. Thanks.

The Palo Alto police log (Web Link) lists the incident as a "casualty/fall" (5:33 p.m. at Bryant and University). This usually means a pedestrian was injured in a fall on the road or sidewalk, though the circumstances are unclear. There does not appear to be any crime associated with this particular incident and the person's injuries do not seem to be life-threatening.
