Please, please, please, make sure your teen drivers follow license restrictions.
Issues Beyond Palo Alto, posted by Parent of Teen Drivers, a member of the Palo Alto High School community, on Feb 11, 2012 at 12:30 pm

A friend of mine in Canada just sent me a link to a horrific crash in his town. He is on his way to funerals of both the teen drivers.

Web Link

They have similar laws to here with regards to restrictions on teen driving and both drivers were disobeying these laws. One was a Learner (driving on a permit) and the other was a Novice (driving within a year of getting license) and both L and N have to be displayed on the cars they were driving. They did everything wrong.

Please parents, make sure your teen drivers are obeying the restrictions on their licenses.

I am posting this to get it back to the top. I am pleased to see that there have been over 150 views of the topic.

This really is something that affects all parents and all drivers. The rules are in place, but do you know whether your teen driver obeys these restrictions all the time?

It is to stop cars with multiple teens to distract (or egg on?) the driver, and to stop late night high jinx that these laws were put in place.
