Mr Hopkins was a wonderful academic counselor and made the class of 1985 feel welcome as new students at Deanza back in 1985 Though I havent' seen him in 20 years His light and love still shine through in my memories of him as he helped us select our curriculums with positiveness and encouragement that we could and would do it there at Deanza. My prayers for his family that the Holy Spirit comfort them through this tragic loss of a wonderful man.

I am going to be a senior at Gunn High School. I have known Albert for almost 4 years, through the acadenic center and also through camp anytown. He made mefeel good, he always was there to talk when anyone needed him. Unfornately I was not able to be there to say my final fair well, I was in Mexico when I heard the news. I wish his family the best. Thanks for everything!

Dear Albert has touched many lives in a very positive way. Whether it be his welcoming smile as the students entered the Academic Center at Gunn and his openness to talk with anyone, anywhere, whoever you are... about whatever you want. I wish for a little bit of Albert to live on in all of us. Love your brothers and sisters all over the world. We are all in this together. Albert, you are forever in my heart and in my soul. I give to you one more rose from my garden. This one is eternal.
