Stanford scientists find clue to depression

Stanford scientists have found a brain pathway in rats that funnels all causes for depression, suggesting that there may be a similar mechanism in humans.

This is great news, especially in light of the conversation on another thread about depressed persons who die by train.

Scientists have made our lives more convenient and comfortable, but they have yet to do anything positive for human hearts and minds.

Hans..what on earth do you mean? ( be sure to not use anything anymore that was created by a scientist..that would bring you back to living the life of a few hundred years ago).

In the past one hundred years about a quarter billion people were slaughtered for no reason.

The other day about 5 people stepped over a woman who was bleeding to death and begging for help.

One passer-by took her picture with a mobile phone.
