Menlo Park's loss of millions in redevelopment money is San Mateo County's gain, a fact which didn't escape the notice of the City Council on Tuesday while it debated Flood Park's future.

Sell and develop the property. It's deteriorated and the upkeep isn't worth it anymore. Developing the land for something mixed use will also drive the negative elements out that have taken over the park the past few years.
