Gunn girl pins down a rare double in same season

Gunn High sophomore Cadence Lee has more decisions to make than most high school athletes, especially when it comes to practice. Does she wear the wrestling headgear today or is it time for the soccer cleats. Decisions. Decisions. That's what happens when you play two sports in the same season.

Good for her, but I thought doing two sports the same season wasn't allowed in Varsity High School sports.

Here's an excerpt from the SCVAL (Gunn's league) by laws...

ARTICLE III - Eligibility

Section 1. The league shall pass no rule less stringent than those provided in the Constitution and By-laws of the Central Coast Section but may adopt more restrictive eligibility requirements.

Section 2. A student may be registered as a member of one or more teams simultaneously provided there is mutual consent by the two coaches.
