Crime on South Court last night?
Crimes & Incidents, posted by Matthew, a resident of the Midtown neighborhood, on Dec 7, 2011 at 9:22 am

One block of South Court (2nd block north of E.Meadow) was blocked last night by 6 or 7 police cars. I was concerned for my neighbors and, given it's down the street, for my family. Anyone know what was happening?

PA police log said: 3285 South Court " unattended death"

I live on South Court and saw all the activity from a distance. It went on for at least two and a half hours. What is an "unattended death"?

Thanks.

Unattended means that a person passed away without a doctor being present. This is usually natural causes, but the police are involved until an autopsy proves that no crime occurred.
