Palo Alto, M-A, SHP and Menlo School head to postseason

A coin flip likely saved defending state champion Palo Alto from possibly making an early exit from the 2011 Central Coast Section football playoffs. The SCVAL De Anza Division champion Vikings won a coin flip with PAL Bay Division champ Terra Nova, thus getting a No. 4 seed while the Tigers got the No. 7 seed.

SHP is "God's Gift to Football"--it's on our school-sponsored tshirts. We should not be ranked #4 if we're God's gift to the entire sport.

Which is why your ranked #4...

I think Menlo should be the ones with the gripe, being seeded 7 after a 26 point win over #4 SHP. It will be tough for either team to make it to the finals though. Carmel will probably make it to their 3rd consecutive title game, and face Palma.
