Best Place to See Fireworks on the 4th?

Around PA it's well known that the best fireworks for the 4th of July happen on the 3rd -- at Stanford. But what about Independence Day? Where do Palo Altans go to see fireworks on the actual day?

I have a young child and I'm looking for some good ideas.

Ihave often seen people go to the top floor of one of the parking garages. They are somewhat dstant, but viewable, not scarely loud, and close to home. Santa Clara and Redwood are generally visible, and start about 9:30.
