when people eat food, they would think it is just food, but often times in other culture it is associate with medicine. so over thousand years, people would find it helps to kill some illness if it is used as food with other stuffs.we should not ban it if it is used for medical purpose,it will be helpful.

Outside Observer,
If you had actually watched the video, you would have found out during the interview with Vicky Ching that Ming's no longer has it on their menu. It is only available by special order. May want to call ahead.
I see it all the time in Cupertino and Milpitas though. Might want to head that way first.

I had been meaning to go to Ming's soon since I have not been there for quite a while, but the fact that they serve shark-fin soup - even by "special" order ... whatever is so special about it ... is enough to put them on permanent boycott for me. This is a barbaric thing, and outside observer is a pretty rotten kind of person to inject that ignorant hateful kind of energy into a public discussion ... what a sad person that their only way to express their individuality is to say something like that.
