My son Nathan and I went to the parade last year to celebrate the SF Giants winning the World Series. What a great experience, but it comes from deep roots.

When I was a kid, my dad took me to the "Stick" from time to time. When my dad transferred my family to Houston, I had to root for the Astros, in the Astrodome, on Astroturf. And a mediocre team.

And I did it.

Please Google the song from "Damn Yankees" You Gotta Have Heart. It says more about this game than anything else I can suggest.

Little League, Babe Ruth, High School, Joe Dimaggio, and Softball all are under way.

These are great community activities, and we should celebrate that Spring is here, and they are back again.

The March Madness is not yet over, but baseball and softball are back.

"These are great community activities, and we should celebrate that Spring is here, and they are back again."

As Stuart Smalley would say, don't should all over me.
