Stanford's VanDerveer named WBCA Coach of the Year

Stanford women's basketball coach Tara VanDerveer has been named the 2011 Russell Athletic/WBCA NCAA Division I Head Coach of the Year, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced Monday.
