Coming to Keplers, 1010 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, this month is Palo Alto author Meg Waite Clayton, "The Four Ms. Bradwells" (March 22, 7 p.m.); Gunn High School grad Jenny Blake, "Life After College: The Complete Guide to Getting What You Want" (March 24, 7 p.m.); and Guy Kawasaki, "Enchantment: The Art of Changing Hearts, Minds, and Actions" (March 31, 7 p.m.). Many of you might have heard Kawasaki, an early Apple employee, co-founder of Alltop.com and a founding partner at Garage Technology Ventures, who's been an inspiring Paly High Baccalaureate speaker for years.

I am delighted to come back to Kepler's, this time to read and sign my new novel, "The Book of Want" on March 30. I graduated from Stanford in 1981 (English lit), and settled in Los Angeles after attending law school at UCLA. But I have fond memories of my days up in Palo Alto and the Farm. Hope to see you at the reading...support your local independent bookstore!
