Paly girls make history with first CCS title

It has been a historic school year for Palo Alto High athletic teams. The football and girls' volleyball teams won state titles in December and the wrestling team won its first league crown in 25 years before having its highest finish ever at the Central Coast Section Championships. Now, add the Paly girls' basketball team to that impressive list.

Congrats also to the Gunn girls, who also had a great season and played well. It was great having an all Palo Alto finals. See you at NorCals!

Very proud of Scott Peters for the excellent coaching job of these girls. He really molded this team into champions. Excellent coach!
