What was going on @ PALY this morning?
Schools & Kids, posted by Dave's Just Wondering, a resident of the Greenmeadow neighborhood, on May 25, 2007 at 8:49 am

8 or 9 squad cars, police with stop signs. Were they looking for the pervert/flasher?

It is Field Day at Paly, longer lunch time with lots of fun and games. No idea if this has anything to do with it.

The police were at the Town & Country Village Shopping Center (right beside Paly) as part of their "Click It or Ticket" campaign, ticketing drivers who weren't wearing seatbelts. There were about 15 police there total, according to Palo Alto Police Sgt. Sandra Brown.

How many Paly kids did you ticket versus adult drivers during the time you were issuing tickets adjacent to Paly? Why set up an operation right next to Paly, instead of downtown University Avenue, during the time frame when the high school kids are arriving for morning classes? It appears like you targeted the kids, but I'm open for feedback.
