Stanford Baseball had their end of season fireworks. Happens every year. It's a great show, I'd say even better than their 4th, er, 3rd of July show.

actually, what you may have heard was the sound of dick cheney and his freinds.

They were passing through the area, and they like to shoot off a few rounds as they pass through each town. Every now and then some unlucky soul catches a bullet, but usually it's all good fun. They migrated through around 8:45, on their way to Hollister, shortly before the event at the Sunken Diamond, which also makes some noise.

why hollister? go figure. they love the heat i suppose, and there

is a nice little drinking hole there where they can refresh their spriits before

heading onto the next stop. why not Hollister? You got a problem with Hollister?

I don't have a problem with Hollister. I have been to that "little drinking hole", it is call Johnnies Bar. Made famous from the Wild Ones movie. Just couldn't figure why Hollister in the above post.
