What's up with Caffe Verona?

Does anyone know what's going to (eventually) take the Caffe Verona space on Hamilton Ave.? The restaurant/cafe has been gone for years now and the property continues to be a shell of its former self, looking like some abandoned building out of "Escape from New York." Any chance the location will show some signs of life anytime soon?
