Great story on the burgeoning self publishing phenomena. Like the way

It reached out to agents and authors for commentary. The big takeaway

(Getting marketing savvy in my dotage) is that everyone has a story to tell

And now its not up to Random House whether we tell it.

Now that you can take $5000 worth of computer and software and produce Gone With The Wind solo, new avenues of distribution are needed. No longer will artists be dependent on Capital Records or MGM to get before the public. The Samizdats changed Russia.
