For all who are interested in grant writing to fund school programs there's an upcoming workshop as follows

"Meet the Grantmakers: Focus on Peninsula Funding for In-school and

After-school Programs"

San Mateo

The Foundation Center brings its popular series back to the Peninsula

for a close-up look at education funding in the region. Panelists will

describe their funding programs and guidelines for in-school and

after-school programs as well as provide "insider tips" for making a

compelling case for your education funding request. Presented in

collaboration with Northern California Grantmakers.

Panelists:

* Justine Choy, Program Officer, Peninsula Community Foundation

* Jordan Klein, Program Officer, United Way of the Bay Area

* Rhonnel Sotelo, Senior Program Officer for Youth and

Communities, Stuart Foundation

* Peter Tavernise, Senior Program Officer, Cisco Systems Foundation

This program will be followed by Finding Funding for In-school and

After-school Programs: An Introduction to the Foundation Center's FC
