This is a silent vigil, and intended to be a reminder that many brave Americans have lost their lives or been seriously injured in a war which was entered into on false premises and which has destabilized the Middle East. There should be no political signs, just candles and silence. Please do not be disresectful to the many brave soldiers we want to honor. Stopping the carnage is my personal goal by silent protest.

There is no question as to the mechanism of collapse of the WTC buildings. Engineers and Architects who need to know to enable them to design the next buildings have satisfied any knowledgable critics as to what and why. If there has been any cover up, it was the culpability of the idiots who banned the use of asbestos in structural fireproofing during the construction of those buildings.
Check the back issues of Engineering News Record for the stories of the investigations. Falling debris from one and two ignited the diesel stored in the basement of 7 to power the backup generators there. That brought 7 down.
Also we should remember that WTC landlord Larry Silverstein is a friend of Bibi Netanyahu, Ariel Sharon and other Israeli high officials. He talks with Bibi every week for many years BEFORE 9/11. How many American landlords pal around with Israeli prime ministers?
Also, with special help from Gov. Pataki, Landlord Silverstein only won the lease to WTC 1 & WTC 2 about SIX WEEKS before 9/11, whereupon he promptly took out 3 billion dollars worth of insurance against terrorist attacks *AND* he fired most of the existing security and maintenance staff.
The commemoration of Israeli bombings that killing 92 people has caused offence
By Ned Parker and Stephen Farrell
The rightwingers, including Binyamin Netanyahu, the former Prime Minister, are commemorating the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, the headquarters of British rule, that killed 92 people and helped to drive the British from Palestine.
They have erected a plaque outside the restored building, and are holding a two-day seminar with speeches and a tour of the hotel by one of the Jewish resistance fighters involved in the attack.
Simon McDonald, the British Ambassador in Tel Aviv, and John Jenkins, the Consul-General in Jerusalem, have written to the municipality, stating: “We do not think that it is right for an act of terrorism, which led to the loss of many lives, to be commemorated.”
In particular they demanded the removal of the plaque that pays tribute to the Irgun, the Jewish resistance branch headed by Menachem Begin, the future Prime Minister, which carried out the attack on July 22, 1946.
The plaque presents as fact the Irgun’s claim that people died because the British ignored warning calls. “FOR REASONS KNOWN ONLY TO THE BRITISH, THE HOTEL WAS NOT EVACUATED,” it states.
"On the morning of the 22nd of July 1946 a party of between 15 and 20 Jews, dressed as an Arabs entered the King David Hotel. The hotel housed the Secretariat of the Government of Palestine and Headquarters of the British Forces in Palestine and Transjordan. The terrorists were able to enter the building without arousing too much attention because part of the building was still being used as a hotel and other people frequented it. The Jews pretended to be an Arab working party. Having unloading from their lorry several milk churns filled with 225 kilogram's of explosive, they placed them in the basement of the wing of the hotel occupied by the Secretariat."

Not sure what the post by scoobydoo really has to do with this thread, but it looks like we went from the issue of a vigil for the Iraqi war dead to blaming israel/jews for 9/11 to posting a completely unrelated article about an event the occurred in Israel last year involving Netanyahu. Netanyahu had the right to attend this event and the british have th right to be angry--how this relates to the Iraq war or 9/11 i do not know.

JULY 2006 thru SEPTEMBER 2006:
Israelis kill 1200 Lebanese, the vast majority civilians. Israelis also kill 660 Palestinians in 2006.
Iran and Hezbollah formally charged over the 1994 bombing of a Jewish centre in Buenos Aires.
Interesting timing... is it possible these overdue accusations were intended to divert world attention from the perpetration of crimes by the Israelis? Or are these accusations supposed to entice USA attack dogs to nuke Iran?

I am aghast at Alice Shaffer Smith's participation in these Anti-US activities. It was this great country that gave refuge and sustenance to her Dad's business, and it is this great country which is now under attack by the Izlammos.
What will happen when the Dem traitors surrender our brave men?
Iraq will become a staging ground for the final war against us.
